Greg Oliff
Greg Oliff currently serves as the Co-Director of the nearly $14 billion Fixed Income Program at Virginia Retirement System (VRS). He has worked at VRS since 2010, spending most of that time in a portfolio management role within the Fixed Income Program. Greg currently serves on the management committee and is responsible for several fund level mandates at VRS. Prior to joining VRS, Greg was an Associate Equity Analyst at BB&T Capital Markets covering transportation and automotive aftermarket equities.
Greg holds an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University (2020) and is a CFA Charterholder (2015). He is a proud graduate of Roanoke College (2007) with a degree in Business Administration concentrating in Finance and Accounting where he was a two-sport athlete. In addition, Greg earned a DEI certificate from Cornell University in 2021, currently serves on the Business Advisory Board at Roanoke College, a VCU MBA ambassador, and as a DIME (Diversity Investment Management Engagement) advisor.
Greg currently lives in Richmond, VA with his wife of 13 years, Emily. Greg and Emily chose to move back to their hometown to raise their three kids (Finley 11, Tripp 9, and Behl 6) around their large family and many lifelong friends. In his free time, Greg serves as an ambassador and team lead for the ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation, enjoys playing sports, being outside, and spending quality time with his family.
Serving on Olivia’s foundation means the world to Greg, as he and Brad have been longtime friends starting out in elementary school as classmates and neighbors. Brad and Britney are truly family to Greg and Emily, and as a result Greg is deeply honored to be involved with carrying Olivia’s legacy forward.
